Buckhorn Camp & Retreat Center

Our summer camps are a combination of exploring the beautiful outdoors, growing in our faith, building lasting friendships, and creating memories that we carry with us for a lifetime.

Our staff strives to make every camper feel welcomed and loved for their entire stay. During our camps, we have group sessions with singing, skits, and lots of laughter, campfires (where s'mores are a must!) and so much more. Crazy crafts, wilderness hikes on our beautiful 320 acre mountaintop, archery, gaga tournaments, and human foosball. We have plenty to keep the most energetic camper busy!

It is our desire that every camper comes to the understanding that God loves them just the way they are, and feel His grace in their every day lives.

Buckhorn Camp has been home to Camp Hope since 1979, providing a camp experience for adults with varying levels of intellectual and physical disabilities.

Located just 40 minutes from Fort Collins in Northern Colorado, Buckhorn Camp is the place for your group to retreat, renew, and reconnect. Access the Great Room in The Retreat Lodge, the main room in Buckhorn, or transform the dining room in Elkhorn to meet the collaborative needs of your organization while surrounded by the serenity of the mountains. Increase communication through outdoor team building activities, or enjoy the opportunity to unplug and relax with a hike, or by enjoying the swings.

Every year we are pleased to serve a wide range of groups from different churches, schools, organizations, and families. Outside groups utilize the camp for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to: team building retreats, seasonal retreats, family fun weekends, service opportunities, training opportunities, and so much more.

Buckhorn Camp is open seasonally from May through October.
