Buckhorn's newest area "The Miner’s Camp" is a "summer only" rustic group camping area. The Miner's Camp consists of four dorm cabins, each holding fourteen campers in bunk beds. A modern bathhouse located in close proximity serves this area.

The Miner's Camp is located in one of the more beautiful spots on our 320 acres. You will find many rock outcroppings and unique wooded hideaways around this camp.

The Miner's Camp is located just down the road from one of our fire rings and not too far from our Low Ropes Course. Like the pond area, the Miner’s Camp is linked to the main camp area by a wooden walkway.
